Where can I find packaging templates?

Print templates are a great way to make great designs in just a few steps. Our print templates are set up with the proper bleeds and margins, so your artwork will be print-ready. Find the right template for your project over on the resources page of our website.

Can you assemble my boxes?

We do not currently offer the service of assembling your boxes and always send them in an unassembled, flat form to save space and shipping costs. If you need help assembling your boxes, send us a message.

Can you print the inside of boxes?

Yes, custom boxes can be ordered with a custom print on the inside. By default, we offer them with a white interior, however, you can also order product boxes with a full-color CMYK printed interior. Whether you choose a uniform color, a graphic pattern, or a hidden message is your decision.

Do you use sustainable or eco-friendly materials?

At ALIGN, we care about sustainability and the future of packaging as more businesses move towards a much greener footprint. We are always challenging ourselves and sourcing new eco-friendly packaging options for you to choose from.

The majority of our paperboard/cardboard materials contain recycled content and are fully recyclable!

Note: Your packaging can become harder to recycle and less sustainable depending on the coatings and special options you choose to add to your packaging. To get expert advice on keeping your packaging more sustainable, speak with our Product Specialist to help plan your packaging!

STICKERS

How long will your stickers last?

The durability of custom stickers varies based on surface placement, care, weather conditions, and exposure. Depending on these variables, they are designed to be fade-resistant for 3-5 years. With that being said we have stickers we printed for clients 8+ years ago that still look brand new even after being exposed to the elements outside for the entire time.

Are your stickers weatherproof?

Yes, our custom stickers are weatherproof. They’re able to withstand exposure to wind, rain, and sunlight. All of our stickers are printed on premium vinyl with a permanent adhesive and are coated with a protective laminate that makes them super durable and resistant to fading, scratching, tearing, oil, and water. They can even be safely run through a dishwasher.

Can you print on the back of my stickers?

No, we do not currently offer back printing.

If you’d like to include extra information with your sticker, we recommend kiss-cut stickers. Kiss-cut stickers typically have a rectangular backing around the design that’s bigger than the sticker, which can be printed on.

Can you split the paper backing on my stickers?

No, we’re currently unable to provide a ‘crack and peel’ backing for custom stickers.

Can you print using metallic inks or foil?

No, we’re currently unable to print using metallic inks. We do offer specialty options such as holographic stickers, which are printed on metallic-like vinyl.

LABELS

What shapes are offered?

Our labels are available in all shapes and sizes including circle, oval, square, rectangle, and die-cut.

Sheet labels vs roll labels - what's the difference?

Sheet labels are printed on an 8.5” x 11” sturdy liner which helps keep them flat for easy storage and is ideal for hand application.

Roll labels are made on a continuous liner and wound around a cardboard spool. They come in all shapes and sizes and can be printed in full color. They’re designed for peeling and placing with speed and are compatible with most label dispensers for even faster application.

Stickers vs labels - what's the difference?

While similar, stickers and labels are unique both in their material and in their uses.

Stickers are made of premium, thick vinyl and are most often used for promotion and handed out individually or included within packaging.

Labels are made with a thinner BOPP film and tend to be used in production (on packaging, bottles, etc.) because they are faster to peel.

Can I write on your labels?

Yes, you are able to write on our custom labels. We find that permanent markers and ballpoint pens work best. Depending on the type of ink used, you may need to give the ink a chance to dry before using your labels.

What is the diameter of a roll label spool?

The diameter of the spool is 3″ which is the industry standard for automatic labeling machines.

What kind of material are your roll labels made from?

Our custom labels on a roll are printed on BOPP film. BOPP is a durable, non-toxic polypropylene commonly used in the food, cosmetic, and medical packaging industries. They feature a luster UV finish that resists food, oil, water & refrigeration.

SHIPPING

Where does my order ship from?

We ship from several production facilities. Depending on your order’s specifications and delivery address, your order will be routed to the best available match for the shortest possible transit time.

*Please note that not all customer orders print at our USA print facility. These orders may require going over country lines & may be subject to additional fees outside of those displayed at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do ship internationally. Please be aware of increased shipping costs for international orders.

Depending on your location and delivery address, your government may require you to pay taxes or import fees/duties on your order. If in doubt, we highly recommend that you consult a Customs Broker who can assist you with this topic. ALIGN does not collect the taxes/duties for international shipments; you will be responsible for paying them at the time of your order’s receipt.

*Please note: Customs may often hold shipments to check the contents of the package and confirm that the value of the goods was declared accurately. This may cause a delay in the estimated delivery date provided to you.

Will all of my items ship together?

When you order multiple items, we make note of the related orders and try our best to ship them together, however, we cannot guarantee that they will be combined for shipping. Due to proof approvals and the manufacturing process, there is a possibility that they will enter production at different times and possibly even at different production facilities. If you have any questions about shipping on your particular order, please message our Support team.

Can you ship to a PO Box?

We do not currently deliver to PO boxes. Please provide a street address when placing your order.

FILE PREPARATION 

What type of files can I send to ALIGN?

We recommend sending a PDF file. You may also send the file in the following types: AI, JPG, JPEG, TIF, TIFF, EPS, and PNG.

We prefer that you send PDFs with embedded or outlined fonts. PDF files are easier to handle and will likely speed up your turn-around times. Remember to flatten your files before uploading.

What color mode should my files be?

You should always start and finish your designs in CMYK color mode.

If you send us an RGB file, there is a chance that a color shift may occur and your items may look different than expected.

What resolution should my file be?

We only accept 300 dpi files.

Low-resolution files may be printed as is or will be placed on hold until we receive new files, slowing your turn-around.

REFUNDS, RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS 

Can my order be canceled after its placed?

All products are made to order. When your order is placed, it is put directly onto our production queue. If you do need to cancel your order, you must let us know within 24 hours after your order is placed. If you wait any longer, we cannot guarantee the cancellation of your order. If you place a rush order and need it canceled, please contact us within 1 hour of placing the order, as we get these in the queue even faster.

Do you offer refunds or returns?

Because all of our products are custom made to order, we cannot accept returns or refunds on any of our products.

What if my order was misprinted?

If there is an error that occurred during manufacturing, we will send out a replacement for the defective item(s) free of charge (Photo proof is required). Without photo proof, we will require you to send the package back at your expense. If we determine that the error was caused on our end, we will reimburse you for the authorized shipping expense. Any cost of shipping over the authorized amount will not be reimbursed.

You must contact ALIGN for a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Returns without a Return Merchandise Authorization number will not be accepted. You must notify us within 3 business days of order acceptance of any defects discovered in the ordered product. In order to receive a replacement, we may request that you return the entire received product within 10 days (at your own expense) from the time when the ordered product delivery was taken. We reserve the right to not accept goods for return that have been used or altered in any way.
